The wonderful Cocker spaniel
Again guilty as charged,i'm biased toward praising up this awesome style of Dog, the Cocker. I can't help myself because i'm half this breed on my dad's side. I get my power and energy from my mum who is a lovely English Springer Spaniel lovely English Springer Spaniel , but I get my cuteness and incredible sniffing abilities from my Dads blood. You know some days I feel a bit guilty how easy it is to get away with being naughty with human pets.
I sometimes think there should be a law about a Dog being this cute and good looking,but then I think to myself those Cavaliers are getting away with it 24 seven, so whatever.
But I'm not alone,this Spaniel breed is one of the most endearing you will ever meet. They may be small but a more good natured and loyal friend would be difficult to find.
We have hunting in our bloodline and as such are very at home in the great outdoors but we can still function in more urban area. We still need a good run but we are not as demanding as a full on Springer Spaniel.

Some of these little dynamo's work as well being very suited to searching out drugs and dare I say explosives for the military.
Nothing like a bit of contraversy. I can hear those labrador owners backs going up already. I've had a little research session again trying to find the history of the Cocker Spaniel you might want to float by and take a look. I've also tracked down a small selection of heart melting Cocker Spaniel pictures for you to look at, but be careful you don't pass out. There is a couple of picture of puppies on there that are so gorgeous that I'M worried that there is a limit to how much cuteness a person can stand. enjoy skipper x

So not only are Cockers the most likeable thing since sliced bread they are useful and courageous as well.
In fact I'm going to stick my snout out and say that they could be the ultimate pet dog.
